Battery mount kits are an important consideration for anyone building or modifying a vehicle. When choosing between our popular 600 and 900 series, it's important to consider your specific needs and requirements.
The 600 series battery mount kit is among the smallest option available and is designed for daily use vehicles with light modifications. It comes with three AGM and one lithium battery options, providing some flexibility for your needs. Of special note is the low amp hour reserve capacity of these batteries which means they are generally best suited for use in temperate climates (warmer climates). Additionally, if you leave your vehicle sitting for a couple of weeks, there is a risk of the battery fully discharging due to the limited reserve capacity. So we recommend the use of a battery tender / maintainer.
The 900 series battery mount kit is a more versatile option that's designed for extended storage periods and can handle more modifications. It's capable of handling colder climates, as well as larger injectors, fuel pumps, lighting, and moderate sound systems. The kit is available with four AGM and three lithium battery options, providing a wide range of choices. However, the increased size and weight of the batteries means the 900 series battery mount kit is slightly heavier than the 600 series options.
When choosing between the 600 and 900 series battery mount kits, it's important to consider your vehicle's power and capacity needs, as well as your intended use and modifications. If you are building a daily use vehicle with light modifications and live in a temperate climate, the 600 series battery mount kit might be the best option for you. But if you are planning on heavy modifications and or live in a colder climate, the 900 series battery mount kit might be a better choice. Ultimately, the decision depends on your specific needs and requirements for your build.
